Grant Seekers Within Colorado

In Colorado, the Gill Foundation provides a limited amount of funding for nonprofits that serve the state’s LGBT and HIV/AIDS populations.

  • LGBT Funding: The Gill Foundation supports a variety of LGBT community centers, youth organizations, and anti-violence programs to support the needs of Colorado’s LGBT population. Priority funding supports efforts that create informed and civically engaged LGBT citizens and efforts to educate LGBT communities on legal and policy protections and efforts to enforce the protections.
  • HIV/AIDS Funding: The Gill Foundation funds organizations that work to prevent HIV/AIDS infection and treat people living with HIV/AIDS using evidenced-based models. We prioritize funding organizations that work in collaboration with other non-profit and government agencies to ensure continued prevention and service provision throughout Colorado. The foundation also prioritizes organizations that utilize advocacy efforts to ensure fair and equal treatment of people at risk for or living with HIV/AIDS.

We accept grant proposals on an invitation-only basis. In order to be considered for an invitation, organizations must first review our eligibility requirements and grant guidelines here: LGBT grant guidelines or HIV/AIDS grant guidelines. If your organization is eligible and fits within the Gill Foundation’s guidelines, you may submit a letter of inquiry to Kelly Costello, grants and CRM data manager, at grantsmanager@annualreports.gillfoundation.org.
